Sugar Daddy Website Launches

This is both amusing and pathetic, emphasis on the latter. Amusing that someone actually had the gall to launch it and pathetic that there are women out there who would call themselves members. I've met several women who do this via webcam, a pretty unsavory lot overall. It's called prostituting yourself. Eligible benefactors, pffft!

SeekingArrangement.com announces the launch of a new kind of dating website aimed at those seeking mutually beneficial arrangements. In less than three short weeks after launch, the website has been visited by over 50,000 unique visitors, and currently boasts over 5,000 registered members that include executives, entrepreneurs, multi-millionaires, students, artists, models and aspiring actresses. The website is now the fastest growing Sugar Daddy dating website.

I did not know there was such a category. Check out the "arrangement" levels.

Seekingarrangement

I don't understand what Premium membership is good for. Who cares, it only costs $35 for 6 months, which sounds like a bargain. Can you imagine all of the "sponsors" getting all worked up over this?

Beter yet, can you imagine the calls they will get on their customer service line? "Press 1 for the police, 2 for EZ-Restraining Orders, 3 for our on-staff psychologist."

Dave, tsk tsk tsk!

You sure sound like a Conservative biggot! To suggest that all such women who join are pathetic implies that many great women in history are pathetic ... think Marilyn Monroe (who happens to be a Mistress of our President!) or the many "other" women of great men.

I can only imagine how narrow minded you are. To only single out "women" as the "pathetic" ones ... don't forget to look at all the Sugar Babies who join as Men, looking for their Sugar Mommy! Dave, I think you are such a male chauvinist....

As for me, I found this website to be classy, and I was very surprised to find some quality people on there.

If you want to talk about sleaze, I think you have found it chatting up with those women who bear all in front of you on their web-cams. You, Dave are the one with no morals. Maybe you are one of the few who frequent those escort sites and are a frequent customer?

For all the others who are open minded, I'd say SeekingArrangement.com is a true relieve from all those Adult sites... at least this one has class!

And finally, for all those girls who have been dating losers, maybe this is a chance for us to date a winner and be treated for what we're worth .... I think that's a great and novel idea!

Dave-
Jackie's comments are way over the top, but I do agree with her that your response is unwarranted. It's not prostitution, it's being or having a mistress, which is just another kind of ongoing relationship. (Put it another way: If a man were simply hiring a prostitute, I don't know but would imagine he'd be able to get better prices.) The gifts a man gives a woman plays a role in many kinds of relationships, and while I will grant that it's usually not this explicit, it is present and labeling it all "lacking moral fiber" is shortsighted.(Whether it's wise for people to get into these arrangements is another question.)

However you come out on the morals, this activity makes up a small but continuing component of the adult online dating market, but the adult sites' database functions don't provide for this. (It's just another example of how the adult dating companies has failed to understand their market has changed.) So, I think as a business move it's a good play to focus a site on this category and steal customers who are now probably paying for premium memberships at the adult dating sites and not having a good experience.

It invokes interest and so it has worked to a point. There's nothing that I can see that would point to a sustainable future.

Jackie, the tone of your comment clearly shows you work for SeekingArrangement. Am I right?

I thoroughly enjoyed your comment about me being a narrow minded, immoral, Conservative bigot.

If wanting to treat women with respect and wishing they would not sell themselves into a relationship to the highest bidder online is being a bigot then yes I am a Conservative bigot. That makes little sense, how about working on your reasoning and coming up with a complaint that people can understand and respond to?

You call SeekingArrangement quality and class, I call it something else. Let's agree to call it a difference of opinion instead of your uninformed drawn assumptions about my personal life.

In regards to escort sites and seeing naked people on the internet: I'll cop to the second accusation about a million times over. I love Nerve.com!

Some women obviously choose to conduct themselves by selling (mind and body) out to rich guys. To each their own. I feel sorry the relationship after the sugar daddy, who wants to be that person?

If you're going to make money on the adult side, there are many other concepts that have proven to yield considerable cash flow in a short period of time. SeekingArrangement is most likely not going to be one of them.

This brings to bear the question, where do women who sell webcam sex sit on the morality scale in relation to women who sell themselves for $20,000 a month to be in a convenient relationship?

Where did comparing yourself to Marilyn Monroe come from? She was partying with the president of the United States, not coercing [insert your definition here] men on an adult dating site and she certainly didn't have to defend her actions.

How many men join the site looking for women? I'd love to see that number.
